The Malta Historic Vehicle Trust has only been in existence for a short while. It is a voluntary organization with the aim of saving, restoring and preserving the larger vehicles of historic significance to Malta. These will typically include lorries, vans, buses, fire engines, cars, and ambulances, both military and civilian. You may help the Trust achieve its aims by assisting in any of the following ways:
- Volunteering to help on vehicle restoration projects and recovery operations
- Providing information about vehicles (their locations and/or their ownership) that may be of interest to the Trust
- Providing information that leads to the acquisition of spare parts and artefacts
- Helping us to acquire information relating to the vehicles themselves with regards to operating and servicing procedures and histories.
- Donations, be they monetary, artefacts, spare parts, vehicles, documentation (manuals/books) etc.
If you feel you can be of assistance to the Trust in any other way besides the above, please do not hesitate to contact us. We have taken on a mammoth task and any help, whether large or small, will be greatly appreciated.
